Cardiff, my Home

Posted in Outings by nicolarowlands on July 25, 2008

We went to Cardiff for the weekend, for an old friend’s wedding. We were lucky to have beautiful blue skies when we went for a walk around the Bay the day after; we visited the National Assembly, The Senedd. It was designed by architect firm Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. It’s a superb building open to visitors, the circular debating chamber which lies at the heart of the building houses the full meeting of all 60 Assembly Members under a spectacular funnel which hangs from the roof… you can stand at the glass and watch what’s going on inside!
