I think Si Scott’s in this issue?

Issue 19 of Blanket is now available to download here. You can see my hand lettering and illustrations and an article which I wrote about holidays. Next issue’s theme is “I think I can fly” which is sort of Dumbo-inspired but mostly in honour of people who, like, achieve stuff. You can submit work in reaction to the theme to re_action at blanketmagazine dot com and you can also send examples of your work to inspire at blanketmagazine dot com.
Now, if I could just get that R Kelly song out of my head…
I’m in the mood for…soft furnishings
My lovely client Kate is now the proud owner of her very own website. Well, it’s just a holding page for the time being until we’ve got some photos of her work. After an afternoon spent cutting and pasting server names and passwords and renaming flash files I think it’s time for a cup of my kitchen’s finest.
Greetings

Cards for sale here. My Christmas cards are also on sale again. Gosh, is it Autumn already?
working 9-9
Now, what’s all this about there only being 24 hours in a day? It’s a ripoff, I say! Apart from the half hour I spent in the hideous netherworld that is Halifax bank in Picadilly gardens this afternoon, I went straight from spending the morning wrapping up my presentation on accessible fonts for the BBC to an afternoon sticking pricetags on card displays in the shop in Affleck’s palace. Can we do a walking lunch, people?
Everyone loves a discount
Come to my shop, mention this, and get yourself a sweet little 10% discount off nicolarowlands merchandise. I might even give you a viscount, if I’m in a good mood. Grand opening August 31st. That’s bank holiday to you son.
