I’ve been working with Chava for about two years now. She’s recently started running art therapy classes which I designed a presentation pack for a while back. Thanks to the success of her promotional material she was desperate for some nice personalized paper to get invoices sent out to her new clients. Here’s what I designed and picked up from the printers just the other day. I think they match nicely with the rest of her stationery. More pics on my flickr page.

New work
I think Si Scott’s in this issue?

Issue 19 of Blanket is now available to download here. You can see my hand lettering and illustrations and an article which I wrote about holidays. Next issue’s theme is “I think I can fly” which is sort of Dumbo-inspired but mostly in honour of people who, like, achieve stuff. You can submit work in reaction to the theme to re_action at blanketmagazine dot com and you can also send examples of your work to inspire at blanketmagazine dot com.
Now, if I could just get that R Kelly song out of my head…
Things are good

What could make today any better? The postman this morning delivered not only an advent calendar from the World’s Best Mum but my fabric from America ready for pillowcases on sale next Sunday at the Cheap Affair!! I also shared a nice cup of coffee with the super kind Ady Bibby of True North and when I returned home with wet feet my spectacular other half had conquered the objectionable and loathsome shelf which has taken a shameful place on the floor of my studio for over two months. It’s now happily attached to the wall, above my desk, supporting my expensive camera… Go shelf go!!
Not only have I a new range of fabrics for the xmas fair at Islington Mill but a new range of Christmas cards as well. I’m not sure if I will save their premiere viewing for next Sunday or if I will provide a sneak peek here. If you’re desperate to order cards, get in touch.
New work

A few weeks ago I went with my client Chava to photograph her at work during one of her art therapy sessions. Here’s a few of the images we used in her presentation and promotional goods. More pics on my flickr page.
Greetings

Cards for sale here. My Christmas cards are also on sale again. Gosh, is it Autumn already?
working 9-9
Now, what’s all this about there only being 24 hours in a day? It’s a ripoff, I say! Apart from the half hour I spent in the hideous netherworld that is Halifax bank in Picadilly gardens this afternoon, I went straight from spending the morning wrapping up my presentation on accessible fonts for the BBC to an afternoon sticking pricetags on card displays in the shop in Affleck’s palace. Can we do a walking lunch, people?
