Blooming Marvelous
I shall be special delivery’ing some goods up to Glasgow tomorrow morning for the grand opening of Welcome Home on October 3rd. Welcome Home will be a multi-disciplinary gallery and retail space, based in Glasgow’s west end, with an onsite studio space for production, artist in residence schemes and workshops.
My cards and cushion covers making their way to new lands! (I hope they like will be ok…) They will sit alongside the wonderful work of Emily Holgarth:
Don’t Panic, but…
…the current Don’t Panic pack contains my poster. Here’s your excuse to drop what you’re doing and head to your nearest trendy clothes store, funky bar or cool event to pick up a pack.
I’m in the mood for…soft furnishings
My lovely client Kate is now the proud owner of her very own website. Well, it’s just a holding page for the time being until we’ve got some photos of her work. After an afternoon spent cutting and pasting server names and passwords and renaming flash files I think it’s time for a cup of my kitchen’s finest.
Greetings

Cards for sale here. My Christmas cards are also on sale again. Gosh, is it Autumn already?
First of many
I’ve got a brand new camera. It’s a canon 500D and it’s pretty awesome. Thanks to some unforeseen yet unquestionably appreciated September sunshine here’s some photos I took today of my shop’s newest additions.
Made from fabric I designed and had printed in America, these one-of-a-kind pillow covers slip easily over a square-shaped throw cushion, measuring about 35cm square.
One of the bird cases went yesterday and I’m thinking they will be hot hot so come in on Saturday and get yours, quick.
That was Toy
I was lucky to meet Mr Chris Gray of Toy on Thursday evening. Designer, illustrator and nice person he offered me some self-designated crummy advice and pointed me in the general direction of many a fab illustrator/talented individual. Crummy advice and general designer-based orientation is fantastic when coming from nice people that are especially talented and good.
Freitag Truck and Don’tPanic poster by Chris Gray:

My friend Bev and I drooled over the work of Nicholas Saunders whilst at Uni… he’s represented by Toy:
And not many things beat this snail man by Chris Martin:
Be kind rewind
I always rewind this one just to watch the little guy hop off the escalator. He’s real nice.
working 9-9
Now, what’s all this about there only being 24 hours in a day? It’s a ripoff, I say! Apart from the half hour I spent in the hideous netherworld that is Halifax bank in Picadilly gardens this afternoon, I went straight from spending the morning wrapping up my presentation on accessible fonts for the BBC to an afternoon sticking pricetags on card displays in the shop in Affleck’s palace. Can we do a walking lunch, people?
