Stumbling around
I sometimes visit the tasteful and stylish blog of an Australian lady who used to be a designer at my boyfriend’s place of work. It’s funny because I noticed her mentioned in an article by Ben Law in frankie magazine. I stumbled across the article coincidentally and then came across her blog completely by accident. She keeps popping up but I’ve never met her. My point is, thanks to Vic’s blog, I have come across this wonderful photographer. I present to you the beautiful work of Erika Svensson. Maybe my boyfriend will now realise that when I take photos of the back of his head it’s not because I don’t like the front of it- other people do it too…
Bobs
Funny that I actually have a junk drawer on my computer full of buttons, matchboxes and empty jars as well as an apple with a heart on it. I’m sure they will prove themselves useful one day. In the meantime, I’ll let them come out to play on my blog…
Blanket
On Thursday I drank a green tea with a lovely lovely lady who is Bec, editor of Blanket. Lucky Manchester, she’s relocated from down under! yay. Here are some of my favorite bits of this month’s issue, not including my small bit of writing. (Points to anyone who can spot me…)

If you’re into magazines of wholesome style and acuity I would sincerely recommend obtaining a copy of this month’s plus1. If not, don’t. You will miss out on my articles and illustrations but that’s fine.

Admittedly, differenciating between a maser and a laser surpasses my insubstantial ultrasonic apprehension, but AKQA’s christmas greeting worries me slightly… surely, like, radiation and stuff?
I must say though it’s the best card I’ve received this year. I love it!
